SRN Project - Iron Ore

Located in the south-central portion of the State of Piaui in the northeast of Brazil, SRN has

completed geological mapping and modeling, air and ground geophysical surveying, surface

sampling, trenching, diamond drilling, metallurgical testing, and identification of its mineral resources. .

Mineral Type

Magnetite

Potential Resource Base

The Order of Magnitude Study (ODM) prepared by BNA-Micromine consultants concludes that

SRN’s mining rights contain 800 million metric tons of potential mineral resources having a 23%

average Fe content.

Logistics

The Project will take advantage of the newly constructed Transnordestina Railway. Access from

the project site to the railway, located near the municipality of Paulistana, is via Highway BR-020

and Highway PI-140/BR-324, both newly paved and re-designed, two lane highways, at a distance

of approximately 130 km.

Rail transport from Paulistana extends approximately 900 km to the Port of Suape, located in the State of Pernambuco.   The Port includes ample land area for expansion, berthing, storage and loading of iron ore onto Capesize dry bulk ships.
